From an early age, Van Brown looked at the harsh realities of gangs, crime, and drugs around his neighborhood, of Bain Town, located in Nassau, Bahamas. He saw people who hadn’t yet discovered their purpose and knew something had to change. As he matured, Van observed the difficult cultural climate around him and decided it was his purpose to bring radical change to communities in need, especially in his hometown.

Van now serves as founder and president of Celebration of Love, where he uses his life experience to inspire unrealized potential in stressed neighborhoods through meaningful relationships and resources.
